Improving Office Immunization Rates
Once you have an office immunization program in place, there are many things you can do to increase the number of vaccines given by your practice. Most importantly, you can make vaccinations a routine part of the conversation you have with your patients.
The CDC has a section dedicated to Strategies for Increasing Adult Vaccination Rates. CDC developed a What Works program for increasing adult immunization rates; CME credit is given for completing the course. CDC also gives vaccination strategies for high risk adults.
The Immunization Action Coalition has developed a list of 35 ways you can increase your immunization rates.
