Personal Stories of Vaccine Preventable Diseases

Vaccines prevent devastating diseases. An important focus of our work is the development and recommendation of practice guidelines for the health care of women. Immunization against seasonal influenza (flu) and other vaccine preventable diseases is an essential component of women's primary and preventive health care. Unfortunately, while rare, families are still impacted by vaccine preventable illnesses.
